    • When do I use my Spackle Primer?

      Use Spackle Skin Perfecting Primer after you apply your moisturizer & sunscreen and before you apply your makeup. After applying, allow the primer to set for at least one minute before following with any makeup.

    • Why do I need a primer?

      Makeup primer acts as a base for your foundation and other products. It adds an element of moisture, helps to smooth the look of pores and fine lines, and even helps your makeup look freshly applied all day. Our tinted Spackle primers can also give your skin a soft and subtle luminous finish.

    • How do I choose the right Spackle Primer?

Years ago, I was doing a TV news journalist’s makeup. “I hope you have more than makeup in your kit, because you’re going to need spackle to fill in all my fine lines and wrinkles!” she joked. But it got me thinking: You wouldn’t paint a wall without filling in all the cracks. Why would you put on foundation without some sort of base to smooth everything out?

It took a few years to get the product just right, but when we launched our Original Spackle Skin Perfecting Primer in 2002, it was one of the first makeup primers on the market!

My Spackle family of primers are miracle workers! Each does a little bit of everything to enhance and protect your skin. Each variety also hydrates, smooth the look of pores and fine lines, holds your makeup in place without creasing, and ensures your makeup looks fresh all day!
