Each palette contains three different shades, so start by determining where your skin tone might fall.
The Fair palette contains Porcelain/Fair/Light and is a great choice for those with the lightest skin tones: Very light, fair, pale complexions.
The Light palette contains Fair/Light/Medium and will work for anyone with lighter skin tones, but not necessarily on the pale side.
The Medium palette contains Medium/Golden Medium/San and is a great option for those with medium, softer tan or olive-toned complexion.
The Deep palette contains Tan/Deep/Toffee and is perfect for those with deeply tanned skin or richer complexions.
To use the Discovery Trio to find your shade match, blend a stripe of each foundation shade using your finger or a brush along your skin – we recommend blending down along your cheek towards your jawline. (Be sure to leave space in between so you can clearly see each shade!) Look for the shade that disappears – or most closely matches – the natural skin tone on your face and neck. That’s your perfect shade!
To use one (or more!) shade/s in the Discovery Trio as an everyday foundation, apply as normal. For light coverage, swirl the Retractable Kabuki Brush – with sleeve pushed all the way down -- onto the powder then stroke on face. Blend outward and upward. Repeat to build coverage. For medium coverage, apply with the protective sleeve of the Retractable Kabuki Brush pulled almost all the way up. Swirl onto the powder then gently dab onto face, repeat as needed.
