Laura has a lightbulb moment when a TV journalist says to her, “I hope you have more than makeup in your kit, because you’re going to need spackle to fill in all my fine lines and wrinkles!” and begins working on a formula for Spackle Skin Perfecting Primer. “I wanted to make something that would hydrate the skin while creating a smoothing effect,” she says.

2002

Laura finally lands on her soon-to-be award-winning formula. Spackle Skin Perfecting Primer Original Clear is born.

    Perfect primer

    Love this! It can be worn alone or under foundation. It gives a warm glow. I wear it with my baked Balance and brighten too. I only discovered Laura Geller cosmetics relatively recently and wish I’d found them sooner . I’ve had so many compliments since using them and at 69 years old I’ll take that !

    Cannot praise the Full face basics kit enough.

    My concern with all of these tubes is that once you’re able to use about a fourth of the tube you can no longer pump it and then you have to squeeze tube. Doing this you waste a lot more. I’m now on my third tube and this has happened to every one.
