  • What is baked makeup and what makes it different?

    Our signature baked makeup starts as swirls of soft cream pigments, which are then artisan-baked in Italy on terracotta tiles for 24 hours. The result is a smooth formula that feels like a powder, but melts and blends into your skin for a soft, creamy feel. Unlike regular pressed powders or heavy liquid formulas, baked makeup offers color-correcting coverage and payoff with a lightweight and breathable feel. It also works great on mature skin, since it doesn't cake or crease! 

  • Can I use baked makeup on dry skin?

    Baked makeup is suitable for all skin types. If you're struggling with dry skin, we recommend starting with the Hydrate version of our Spackle Skin Perfecting Primer for an extra burst of moisture before applying your baked products.

  • Do I need to use setting powder with baked foundations?

    Nope! Your baked makeup shouldn't require extra setting powder to stay in place all day.

  • What are the benefits of baked makeup?

    Thanks to the lightweight formula, baked makeup resists settling, creasing or caking into fine lines and wrinkles, so it's a wonderful choice for those with mature skin or other skin concerns.

  • Does baked makeup work well with my other makeup products?

    Yes! You can happily mix and match any of our Laura Geller products.

  • Which brushes do you recommend to use with baked makeup?

    While many of our Laura Geller makeup brushes work well with our baked products, our Kabuki Brush family is always a safe bet. Try the Retractable Airbrush Kabuki Brush for foundation and the Retractable Angled Kabuki Brush for custom coverage and color products.

  • What is your return policy?

    In honor of the holiday season, for orders placed between 10/1/25-12/31/25 we have extended our return policy to 60 days to give you more than enough time to try their favorite products.

    As always, if you are not satisfied, we invite you to return or exchange your product for free, minus shipping charges. To process a return, click here. Effective January 1, 2026 we will revert back to our normal return policy of 30 days from the date of purchase.
