In 2004, she discovered an Italian artisan process that changed everything — and Baked makeup was born. She’s spent the last two decades championing women 40+ and pioneering a pro-aging movement in beauty.
Melissa Gorga is a mother of three, a boutique owner, a podcast host, and a woman who has had her beauty evolution play out on national television for over a decade. She’s refreshingly honest about what works, what didn’t, and why she believes less is more as she hits her stride at 46. She’s full Italian, fully herself.

In 2004, Laura discovered a centuries-old technique in Italy where cream pigments are hand-baked on terracotta tiles for 24 hours. The result is something that doesn’t exist anywhere else in beauty: a formula that feels as light as powder but delivers the hydration of a cream.
It doesn’t settle into lines. It doesn’t cake. And the marbled, multi-tonal pigments actually color-correct as you blend — so one product does the work of three.
