I have tried several root touch ups and they were difficult to target. Sprays covered more hair than I wanted. Creams and applicators like used in mascara made my hair look greasy. Generally they made the application areas stand out as different from my hair.
Thus touch up blends perfectly with my hair. I was hesitant to use the cream side, but even that blends in great without a greasy residue.
