Many of you have been asking me on Facebook and Twitter what products are best to use to achieve the “matte look.” I think this is a great look, and with the right products and application techniques, you can create a truly flawless finish.
Here are some products that I recommend using:
Welcome Matte® Skin Enhancer
This amazing gel-based liquid keeps skin looking fresh, clean and shine-free, all day long. Apply to areas on your face with high shine or visibly large pores. You can even apply this throughout the day on top of your makeup.
Matte Maker Invisible Oil Blotting Powder
Suitable for all skin types, my invisible Oil Blotting Powder reduces shine, makes pores appear smaller and creates the perfect smooth matte finish.
Shimmer Down® Reduce Sparkle and Shine for Face and Eyes
This is perfect for my girls who love sparkle, but want to switch their look up every now and then (it’s like doubling your makeup collection without spending a lot!). Transform any of your favorite sparkly eyeshadows, blushes and more into new, (gorgeous!) soft matte powders. This product is also suitable for all skin tones, and won’t change the color of anything it mattifies. You can also apply Shimmer Down® over areas you’d like to de-shine.
Also, all of my Sugar Free products are designed to deliver a matte texture. Add one (or more!) of these products to your makeup routine:
Sugar Free Blush-n-Brighten
I love how this matte baked blush brightens your face and enhances your cheekbones, minus the shimmer. My Sugar Free Blush-n-Brighten is a blush that works for everyone, thanks to swirls of classic, neutral cheek colors that play up every skin tone. Simply apply the blush on the apples of your cheeks, and blend towards the hairline.
