Tips for Valentines Day
Posted by Laura on Feb 08,2011

With Valentine’s Day on its way, you want to look like the best version of yourself! I have been receiving a lot of requests from my Geller Girls for some tips on how to make this day even more special.

- First, Get Flirty & Fabulous eyes using my three E’s philosophy of makeup application. Paying attention to your Eyebrows, Eyelashes, and Eyeliner will completely pull your look together for a polished, gorgeous finish. Try my Brow Marker, I Care Waterproof Eyeliner & top it all off with my topcoat for lashes, Lash Varnish.

- Be a blushing beauty!  Create an angelic, glowing, and radiant complexion by using feather-light formulas that let natural, sexy skin shine through. Try using my Air Whipped Blush for this, available in 2 sensuous shades.   It seamlessly erases flaws while imparting a light flush of color. For a bolder look, Sculpt your cheekbones with a bright shade of Blush n Brighten such as Tropic Hues to add illusion of height and shape. Here’s the trick: Purse your lips (as though you were making a fish face or my QVC model face) and feel for your bones. Apply your blush to your cheekbone and sweep what is left on the brush lightly over your lids to achieve balance and harmony with your skin and eyes.

- What’s Valentine’s Day without a sexy pout? If going bold with a red lip isn’t your thing, how about a luscious, pink or plum lipgloss ?  Try my Light Beams Lip Gloss in Star Plum. It’s a fabulous and less dramatic alternative.

- Lastly, Show some Skin!  Glowing, healthy skin is so in. That’s why I recommend my Baked Body Frosting. Apply Honey Glow wet or dry, over your face, neck, décolleté, arms & legs for a just-came-home-from-vacation look! Or for a more sweet & subtle shimmer, try Sugar Glow to look like you’ve been dipped in finely crushed pearls.

I hope you will all find these tips to be helpful. Remember, whether you are sharing your Valentine’s Day with that special someone or hanging out with your single gal pals, treat yourself to looking & feeling beautiful inside & out! Please let me know what you think on my Facebook Page

My Escape to the Tropics
Posted by Laura on Jan 12,2011

Hello Friends,

Twice a year, my son, Daniel, and I go away to spend some quality time with one another. This Christmas was no different. I guess you can say we did our own escape to the tropics because this Christmas we went to the Dominican Republic: a place I’ve visited before. It truly is a beautiful destination and it is a place that I love. It was a long awaited trip and both Daniel and I took full advantage of it. Alarm clocks didn’t have to be set, we visited the pool every day, and we enjoyed the warm weather. Daniel was the “King of the pack” as he made many younger friends. It was such an adorable thing.

The most interesting moment didn’t necessarily take place in the Dominican Republic. As I was there, I heard of a snowstorm that was about to hit New York City. Fearing it would affect our trip back home, I had to make the decision for Daniel and I to leave early before the storm hit. I started to question whether or not coming home too soon was a good idea but boy can I tell ya, it turned out to be a very good decision since New York was covered with 12 inches of snow! Here are some photos I wanted to share with you:

Although my trip to the Dominican Republic was very relaxing, I am looking forward to getting right back in the saddle of the New Year. I’ve already started creating new products and shades for all of my beautiful Geller Girls. I hope you will enjoy what I have in store and don’t forget to join me on my upcoming shows on QVC:
