Hi Geller Girls,

I know many of you are aware of my Facebook page: Laura Geller Makeup. I love that I am able to connect with each and every one of you whether it be offering tips, sharing photos, or just engaging in some chitchat. To add to the fun, every week I’ll be doing a free giveaway that you and your friends can join in on. All you have to do is “Like” my page and encourage other GGs to do the same. Once I reach 12,000 fans, 4 lucky winners will be selected at random to receive my Baked Body Frosting (R&B singer, Ciara’s, favorite) in the shade of their choice! Hope you all are as excited as I am.

My Escape to the Tropics
Posted by Laura on Jan 12,2011

Hello Friends,

Twice a year, my son, Daniel, and I go away to spend some quality time with one another. This Christmas was no different. I guess you can say we did our own escape to the tropics because this Christmas we went to the Dominican Republic: a place I’ve visited before. It truly is a beautiful destination and it is a place that I love. It was a long awaited trip and both Daniel and I took full advantage of it. Alarm clocks didn’t have to be set, we visited the pool every day, and we enjoyed the warm weather. Daniel was the “King of the pack” as he made many younger friends. It was such an adorable thing.

The most interesting moment didn’t necessarily take place in the Dominican Republic. As I was there, I heard of a snowstorm that was about to hit New York City. Fearing it would affect our trip back home, I had to make the decision for Daniel and I to leave early before the storm hit. I started to question whether or not coming home too soon was a good idea but boy can I tell ya, it turned out to be a very good decision since New York was covered with 12 inches of snow! Here are some photos I wanted to share with you:

Although my trip to the Dominican Republic was very relaxing, I am looking forward to getting right back in the saddle of the New Year. I’ve already started creating new products and shades for all of my beautiful Geller Girls. I hope you will enjoy what I have in store and don’t forget to join me on my upcoming shows on QVC:

I am back from a full day of presenting my latest TSV, Escape to the Tropics. As always, I had an amazing time on the set at QVC and enjoyed talking to some of you live. For those of you who may have missed it, you can always check out QVC.com to find information on the kit as well as videos of my tips. I will be waiting on pins and needles to hear what my Geller girls think about this particular collection. The colors are beautiful and luscious; your friends will ask if you just returned from a vacation. That’s how marvelous it truly is.

I cannot wait for you all to try my Baked Eye Dreams Palette in Sunset Horizon – it was inspired by my Dream Creams Lip Palette that many of you love! The Eye Dreams Palette is made in Italy with the added benefit of a new ‘double baked’ process that delivers creamier color payoff and blendability. This new palette can be used as eyeshadow, as a highlighter on the face and body or can be used wet as a liner.

The deep, rich shimmering plum shade of my I Care Eyeliner in Purple Paradise is to die for. Soft, smooth, and super long-wearing, this waterproof formula glides into place with the greatest of ease. There’s so much! To find out what else was included, please visit QVC.com.

Here are some photos from behind the scenes:

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to post them on my Facebook Page. I will get to them the best that I can.

Hi Everyone,

I love this time of year. The Fall is such a fabulous season to get together with friends, especially around Halloween. My apartment has become sort of the meeting place for many of my friends when Halloween arrives, considering I don’t get to see them as often as I would like. For those of my friends who live in apartments, you know how complicated it can be to go Trick-or-Treating (there’s not many physical houses in New York City). For the past 7 years, I’ve been throwing my annual Halloween party. It’s become a party for the parents as much as it is for the kids. It’s a time when we take great joy in seeing our kids having fun and “dressing up” with their friends. I would have to say that the best thing about my Halloween party is that it has now become a true tradition. One of my favorite moments is when Daniel puts on his favorite cape and pretends to be whatever pops up in his head. It’s cute and brings a laugh to everyone who is there. It’s a fun night that I’m very much looking forward to. Have a safe and Happy Halloween everyone!

Love Always,
