Geller Gorgeous since 1997. 27 Iconic Years & Counting.

Early in Laura Geller’s career, she loved two things: beauty and Broadway. The born-and-raised New Yorker combined both when she landed a job backstage as a theatrical makeup artist. Soon after, she took center stage when she opened her namesake makeup studio on Manhattan’s Upper East Side.

During the 20+ years the studio was in business, Laura became known for her wearable looks and magnetic personality–two talents that made her a resounding success on air at QVC. For example, in 1997, the first product from her eponymous makeup line–a highlight and contour kit–sold out in minutes. A few years later, Laura Geller Beauty’s award-winning Spackle Skin Perfecting Primer was born. Two decades later, it remains a cult favorite.

After pioneering the world of makeup primer with the game-changing Spackle, the brand soon became famous for its iconic baked makeup. All of Laura Geller Beauty's baked formulas are handcrafted in Italy and designed with mature skin in mind. Each product delivers weightless, silky color that never cakes or creases — even in fine lines! This innovation caught the attention of AS Beauty, a parent company focused on female-founded beauty brands. Laura Geller Beauty joined the AS Beauty family of brands in 2019.

Two years later, Laura Geller Beauty made the bold decision to exclusively feature women over 40 in advertising, social media, and on LauraGeller.com. As part of these ongoing efforts to celebrate beauty later in life, the brand joined forces with legendary icons like Fran Drescher, Paulina Porizkova, Patricia Heaton, Kathy Najimy, Bethenny Frankel and more. In 2022, the brand also observed the first ever National Mature Women's Day, a nationally recognized holiday to honor women over 40 nationwide!

Laura Geller Beauty is also a proud supporter of numerous charitable organizations promoting women’s health and wellness nationwide. Our founder Laura Geller serves on the board of Cancer + Careers, an organization supporting cancer patients in the workplace. She was honored at the CEW Foundation’s Beauty of Giving event in 2016 for her work. Since 2021, the brand has partnered with actress and activist Fran Drescher in support of her Cancer Schmancer initiative that works towards cancer prevention and early detection.

“We want to make all women feel beautiful and worthy whether they’re 19 or 90,” says Laura.
